A farmer named Hafizur Rahman was burnt to death in Sarishabari of
Jamalpur. Three of his houses were burnt in the same incident. The
incident took place in Dharaborsha village of Kamrabad union of the
upazila around 2 o'clock last Saturday. The affected farmer is the son
of Ali Mandal, deceased in that area. According to fire service and
local sources, the fire was brought under control with the help of fire
service and locals, but two cows and three houses were burnt in the
